The Araw ng Quirino and Panagdadapun Festival is the grandest and most anticipated celebration in the Province of Quirino. Held every September, the festival commemorates the province’s founding anniversary and symbolizes the vibrant unity among its six municipalities— Aglipay, Cabarroguis, Diffun, Saguday, Maddela and Nagtipunan. “Panagdadapun,” an Ilocano word meaning “gathering” or “coming together,” perfectly captures the spirit of this annual festivity, where communities join hands to celebrate their shared identity, rich heritage, and aspirations for the future.

The festivities feature a dynamic lineup of activities, including street dance competitions, trade fairs, agricultural exhibits, sports tournaments, talent shows, and concerts — all highlighting the spirit and identity of Quirino.

More than just a festive occasion, the Araw ng Quirino and Panagdadapun Festival stands as a reflection of the province’s strong sense of identity, its dedication to progress, and the enduring spirit of its people. It is a time for everyone to unite, celebrate, and dream of an even brighter tomorrow together.
