Shaping the Future Filmmakers of Quirino!🎬✨

With the unwavering support of the Provincial Government of Quirino, led by Governor Dax Cua and Congresswoman Midy Cua, in collaboration with DepEd Quirino, NCIP Quirino, and the North Luzon Cinema Guild, Inc., Day 1 of the Quirino Film Camp was a resounding success!

This 3-day filmmaking workshop, titled “Istoria Quirino Film Camp,” serves as a dynamic creative platform for aspiring storytellers to bring Quirino’s rich culture, traditions, and experiences to life through film. By weaving authentic community narratives, the camp aims to empower local talents and amplify Quirino’s voice in the world of cinema.

Held today, February 5, 2025, at the QLife Building, Capitol Hills, Cabarroguis, Quirino, the event gathered 31 passionate aspiring filmmakers, all eager to enhance their skills in storytelling and visual filmmaking techniques.
Sharing their invaluable expertise were esteemed resource speakers:

In her inspirational message, Provincial Administrator Carmelita B. Jimenez underscored the importance of celebrating National Arts Month and nurturing local talent to reach national and international platforms. She expressed her hope that Quirino will soon produce filmmakers whose works will proudly carry the identity of #TatakQuirino.

“We believe in your talent, and we are here to support you in crafting something extraordinary,” she emphasized.

The Quirino Film Camp will culminate on February 7, 2025, marking the beginning of a new wave of filmmakers ready to share Quirino’s stories with the world.
